simplebim®, the OPEN BIM tool
simplebim® is an application dedicated to processing IFC models. It lets you produce digital models free of superfluous data, enriched with the information expected by each discipline, and compliant with your BIM execution plan requirements. The tool is published by Datacubist Oy (Finland) and distributed by CADatWORK Learning.
A 4-step workflow
1. Import
Load one or more IFC models from different software (Revit, ARCHICAD, Tekla, Allplan…).
2. Simplify
Filter objects and properties to keep only the information useful for the intended use case.
3. Enrich
Add, rename, calculate and normalise properties using configuration templates.
4. Check & export
Check the quality of the data, then export a clean, lightweight IFC compliant with your requirements.
